We Won A Major Award!

I won a major award! And no, it's not a salacious lamp. (It's the holiday season, so I had to make a Christmas Story reference.)

Instead, I've recently been honored with not one but two prestigious recognitions from the TalentLMS Training Excellence Awards. One silver finalist award for Training Excellence in Employee Training at SUCCESS and one Training Trailblazer silver finalist badge. 

I've won awards before, but usually, they've been internally recognized. My SquadStarter award comes to mind from initiating the Geek Squad Employee Induction program at Best Buy or when I won the President's Club Award at SUCCESS. Though those awards were humbling and awesome, they held little sway outside the organizations where I earned them. I'm proud to say I have a more widely known recognition! 

What are the TalentLMS Training Excellence Awards? They were announced in 2023 by TalentLMS (arguably one of the most widely used learning management systems because of its affordability.) Organizations and employees then went through a nomination process. After the nominations were filtered through, the finalists were asked to submit more information about their training programs, and my co-workers were asked for their feedback to validate the claims I submitted. 

Finally, the winners were announced in late November 2023. My daughter had just been born, so I was at home with her and my wife recovering when I heard the pleasant news. 

It's humbling and amazing to be recognized for the hard work the team at SUCESS, and I have done over the last year, and I can't wait to take home the gold in 2024!
