About Alex
Alex started Skill Mammoth in 2023 after years of meeting owners who had paid good money for a website and been handed a brochure. The site looked fine. It never rang the phone. The agency had built it, sent the final invoice and moved on, and nobody could tell the owner which marketing produced which job.
Skill Mammoth is deliberately narrow because of that. It builds custom websites for home service trades and professional service firms, gets them found in local search and in AI answers, and wires up the follow-up that turns an inquiry into booked work. Every price is published on the site, clients own their site and their data, and Alex is the person on the call rather than a rotating rep.
The articles here are written the same way the work is done: with real numbers. Rate cards are pulled from vendor pricing pages on a named date, agency samples are counted by hand, and rankings are checked against live search results before anything is recommended. Where Skill Mammoth has a commercial relationship, such as the Jobber partnership, the article says so.
Alex is based in Minneapolis and works with clients across the United States. Read more about the company on the about page.
