Custom CRMs & Dashboards
Custom CRMs and Dashboards for Service Businesses
When the starter CRM is too small and Salesforce is too much, we build the middle.
You're running a $2M operation out of three spreadsheets, a group text, and a CRM you use 10% of. Roofing crews, law firms, clinics, agencies: same disease, same cure. We build the tool you actually described when you listed what you need, and you own it when we're done.

Should You Even Buy Custom?
Honest answer: a lot of businesses shouldn't. If an off-the-shelf tool fits, buy it. For the trades we've written the guides: roofing, plumbing, HVAC, cleaning, and Housecall Pro vs ServiceTitan. Law firms have Clio, clinics have their scheduler; the same rule applies. Custom makes sense when the shelf runs out.
Custom is the right call when
- You're paying per-seat for 15 people who use two features
- Your workflow straddles two tools that refuse to talk to each other
- Your operations live in spreadsheets only one person understands
Buy off the shelf when
- You have 3 users and the starter plan of Jobber or Clio covers your workflow
- You haven't tried the off-the-shelf tools built for your industry yet
- You want a tool but nobody in the company will own using it
What We Build
Described by the problem they kill, because that's how you'll recognize yours.
Client Portals
A branded login where your customers see job status, documents, invoices, and messages, so your office stops answering "where are we at" calls.
Pipeline Dashboards
Every job, case, or client on one board, from lead to paid, with the stages named the way your team actually talks about them.
Proposal & Estimating Tools
Quote and proposal builders with your real cost structure and margin math baked in, so everyone prices work the same way.
Lead Inboxes
Every lead from every source in one queue with follow-up tracking, so nothing sits unanswered while the competitor calls back first.
Owner Dashboards
Reviews, rankings, lead counts, and revenue on one screen you check from the truck or between appointments, instead of five logins you check never.
Integrations
The glue between the tools you keep: QuickBooks, Jobber, Clio, CompanyCam, Stripe, and 200+ systems via webhooks.
Real Builds, Not Mockups
We run our own products on the same stack we build for clients. Here's what that looks like in production.
RoofMammoth: instant estimates with CRM routing
Our roofing estimate widget takes an address, runs satellite measurement, and returns a ballpark to the homeowner in seconds while the lead lands in the roofer's CRM through webhooks. It's a custom lead-capture tool, an estimating engine, and an integration layer running in production for paying customers.
The same webhook and dashboard infrastructure goes into client builds.

Report engines and job-data dashboards
Behind the widget sits a report system: storm intelligence, material takeoffs, and 3D claim exports, each generated from job data on demand. Building data products like this for our own customers is why client dashboards ship in weeks instead of quarters.
We also run a multi-tenant client portal with lead inboxes, rank tracking, and a content pipeline for every Skill Mammoth client, roofing crews and law firms alike, plus a proposal system with cost-based margin math built for a commercial roofing operation.
The Money Math
"Custom" sounds like a six-figure enterprise project. It isn't. Most of our builds cost less than one year of the per-seat tool they replace.
| Per-seat CRM (10 users) | Custom build | |
|---|---|---|
| Year one | $12,000 to $18,000 | $3,000 to $15,000, once |
| Year five | $60,000+ and climbing with seats | Light maintenance, or nothing |
| Fits your workflow | You adapt to it | It's shaped around your jobs |
| When you leave | Data export, if you're lucky | You already own everything |
Exact pricing depends on scope, and we quote it as a fixed number after the diagnose step. No hourly meters.
How It Works
Diagnose. Design. Deploy.
Same three steps as everything we build, starting from how your work actually runs.
Diagnose
We watch how the work actually moves: the spreadsheet, the group text, the whiteboard. The software has to match the real workflow, not the org chart.
Design
You get clickable screens before we build anything, priced as a fixed scope. No hourly meter, no surprise invoices at the end.
Deploy
We ship in stages, migrate your data, train your team, and stay on for maintenance if you want us. You own the code and the database either way.

The one only Brenda understands. Bring it to a 15-minute call and we'll tell you honestly whether it should become software, get replaced by an off-the-shelf tool, or stay a spreadsheet.
