    Crosstown Brick & Walls

Crosstown Brick & Walls is the brick side of a Bloomington paving family that had no website of its own. We built it one on our master template, with six service pages and 20 area pages, then launched it on November 5, 2026.

    The Challenge

Crosstown Brick & Walls builds paver patios, walkways, driveways and retaining walls around Bloomington, Minnesota. It is the third generation of a paving family that goes back to Herold Pietig & Sons in 1955 and Crosstown Concrete & Brick Paving in 1976. Jason Doner ran that company's brick division for over 20 years, and in 2025 he and Sarah Doner set up Brick & Walls to carry the brick side forward. The new company had no website, domain or logo. Its photos lived on the parent company's site, and its public record was a Google listing rated 5.0 across 14 reviews. The owners wanted their own job photos, the reviews word for word and no claim the business could not back up. No street address could appear, because the business meets customers at their homes.

    The Solution

The owners picked Backyard Family from three homepage directions in September 2026, so the site opens with the family timeline and the line "Your backyard, built by family." It runs on our master template, with six service pages (each with its own FAQ) and 20 city pages that grew from nine as Sarah sent photos of work in new towns. On September 19, 2026 Sarah uploaded 74 job photos, the official logo and a crew photo to the portal, then eight more jobs on November 4. Her photos replaced every parent-company image and became 20 project pages, each tagged with its city and the month it was finished. Nine Google reviews appear word for word with a link to all 14. Six blog posts went up before launch. Two rounds of client comments, on October 21 and November 4, added four cities, reworked the family story and trimmed the footer family block. At launch on November 5, 2026 every page got an absolute canonical, LocalBusiness schema naming all 20 cities and a robots.txt that points at the sitemap. The owners now watch traffic and upload new job photos in the Skill Mammoth portal.
