    The Challenge

True Blue Construction Services is a family-owned general contractor in Fridley, Minnesota, started by Justin Jacobs in 2017 and now running five divisions: commercial, ground-up construction, Turnkey remodeling for realtors, restoration and land development. The previous site ran at trueblueconstructionservices.com. Contacts reached HubSpot from Apollo, the website and HubSpot's inbox sync, and nothing decided whether a contact was property-manager or realtor work, or which rep should own it. Three things had to be true at launch. Every page needed a real title, description, canonical and schema so Google could tie ten service-area pages to one business. Bid requests had to reach the office inbox and, for realtor work, the Turnkey division owner. And the form had to keep pitches out, because every submission it took in the weeks before launch was a vendor selling something rather than a project.

    The Solution

The site went live at truebluecs.com in October 2026 with 46 pages: one for each of the five divisions, ten service-area pages, five industry pages, seven case studies, a six-post blog and a 58-photo gallery filtered by project and room, with no stock images. The home page carries GeneralContractor schema whose areaServed list ties the service-area pages to the business, and the sitemap is built from the same data files the pages render from. The bid form asks for project type, timeline and budget range, then sends each request to the office inbox and, for Turnkey work, to the division owner. A two-stage spam filter checks wording first and an AI model second, and it fails open, so a real request is never lost. In HubSpot, a router runs every 15 minutes, stamps each new contact with its division and assigns it to a property-manager rep or the realtor rep. A hot-lead alert emails the owner with numbered BuilderTrend steps and a one-row CSV ready to import, since BuilderTrend has no open API. Each rep gets an 8:00 am email listing the leads assigned to them in the last 24 hours.
