TL;DR
GoHighLevel is two products sharing one login, and which half you are replacing decides the answer. If you are an agency reselling it, the real competitors are SuiteDash ($19 to $99 a month with unlimited clients and staff) and Vendasta (no subscription, but a $99 to $999 monthly minimum spend plus a matching platform fee at signing). If you are a contractor who inherited a GHL account from a marketing company, you almost certainly want a field service platform instead: Jobber from $29 or Housecall Pro from $59, both of which run your schedule as well as your follow-up. Thryv ($99 to $399) covers the middle. Skip HubSpot unless you can absorb a $1,500 onboarding fee, and stay on GoHighLevel if you are actually using SaaS mode to bill clients.
Most lists of GoHighLevel alternatives fail at the first step, because they treat GHL as one product. It is sold as one, at one price, on one page. In practice it does two unrelated jobs.
Job one is an agency reseller platform: sub-accounts, white labelling, SaaS mode, and the ability to rebill phone and email usage to your clients with a markup. Job two is a small-business all-in-one: pipelines, funnels, two-way SMS, review requests, calendars. An agency owner and a plumbing company will both search for alternatives, and they need entirely different lists.
Work out which half you are leaving first. Everything below is sorted that way, and every price came off the vendor's live pricing page in September 2026.
What GoHighLevel actually costs
The published plans are $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro, with annual billing at $970, $2,970 and $4,970, which works out to two months free. Starter carries 3 sub-accounts. Unlimited removes the cap and adds rebilling of phone and email at cost. Agency Pro adds SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with a markup and advanced API access.
The sticker is not the bill. Phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage all meter on top, and add-ons run from $10 a month for WhatsApp or WordPress hosting up to $497 a month for the white label mobile app. A busy account sending real volume can add a few hundred dollars monthly before anyone notices. Our GoHighLevel pricing breakdown goes through the usage fees line by line.
If you are an agency: two real competitors
SuiteDash is the closest thing to a direct swap and it costs a fraction of the price. START is $19 a month or $180 a year, THRIVE is $49 or $480, PINNACLE is $99 or $960. Every tier includes what they call Extreme White Labeling plus a custom-branded mobile app, and all plans carry unlimited clients and unlimited staff with no per-user charge. Extra storage runs $5 a month per 250GB.
Compare that honestly. PINNACLE at $99 a month gives you white labelling that GoHighLevel charges $497 to approach, and the branded mobile app that GHL sells as a $497 add-on. What SuiteDash does not give you is the marketing automation depth, the funnel builder or the phone system. It is a client portal and operations platform with CRM attached, so if your clients are buying campaigns from you, you will be bolting other tools around it.
Vendasta prices in a way nobody else on this page does. There is no subscription. Instead you commit to a monthly minimum spend of $99 on Starter, $499 on Professional or $999 on Premium, and pay a platform fee at signing equal to that same figure. Professional and Premium require a one-year contract. What you get for it is a wholesale marketplace of third-party products you resell under your own brand, which is a different business model from GHL's.
Starter is co-branded with Vendasta rather than fully white label, which matters if the point of the exercise was removing someone else's name from your client portal. White labelling starts at Professional, so the honest entry price is $499 a month plus $499 at signing.
| Platform | Entry for full white label | Per-user cost | Contract |
|---|---|---|---|
| GoHighLevel | $497/mo (Agency Pro, SaaS mode) | None, unlimited users | Month to month |
| SuiteDash | $19/mo (all tiers white label) | None, unlimited staff | Month to month |
| Vendasta | $499/mo minimum spend + $499 at signing | 5 seats included | 1 year at Professional |
| Verdict | SuiteDash if you want the white-label portal cheaply. Vendasta if reselling third-party products is the actual business. GoHighLevel if you are billing clients through SaaS mode and it is working. | ||
Inherited a GoHighLevel account you did not ask for?
We will look at what is actually running in it and tell you what is worth keeping. No charge, no obligation to move anything.
If you are a contractor: you are probably in the wrong category
A large share of home service companies on GoHighLevel never chose it. A marketing company set it up, built a funnel, wired the missed-call text back, and billed a monthly fee that included a sub-account. When that relationship ends, the contractor is left holding a platform designed for agencies.
The honest advice is to stop looking for a GHL replacement and start looking at what runs your business. A dispatch board, quotes, invoicing and customer records matter more day to day than a funnel builder.
Jobber is $29 a month for a single user on Core with annual billing, $99 on Connect and $149 on Grow. Connect adds two-way SMS and automated quote follow-ups, which covers most of what the GHL account was doing for you. Housecall Pro starts at $59 annual and bundles five users at $149. Both include a QuickBooks Online sync, online booking and reminders.
Disclosure: Skill Mammoth is an official Jobber partner and readers get 20 percent off through us. Jobber would top this section regardless, and the reasoning is above so you can discount it. No arrangement exists with any other vendor named in this post.
Thryv is the closest small-business equivalent to GHL's feature spread, at $99 a month for Starter with one user and $399 for Signature with five, with 15 percent off annual billing and a $250 onboarding fee waived in year one. It bundles the website, the CRM, reviews and messaging, which is convenient and also means leaving is painful later.
Keap lists at $299 a month for two users with extra users at $39, and an implementation package is mandatory. The fee for that package appears nowhere on the pricing page, which tells you how the conversation will go.
HubSpot comes up constantly and deserves a caution. Starter is approachable at $7 per seat on annual billing, but Professional is $90 per seat and carries a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500, with Marketing Hub Professional adding $3,000 on top of $800 a month. The full HubSpot pricing breakdown works through what that means for a contractor.
Who should stay
Three situations where switching is the wrong move.
You are running SaaS mode and billing clients through it. That is the one thing GoHighLevel does that almost nothing else replicates at the price, and rebuilding it elsewhere costs more than the subscription.
You have more than a handful of sub-accounts with live automations in them. Migration effort scales with automations, not contacts, and a hundred workflows is a project, not an afternoon.
Your only complaint is the interface. Every platform on this page has an interface someone hates. That is not worth a migration.
Three to skip
Any list that recommends Salesforce as a GoHighLevel alternative. The audiences do not overlap at all, and the implementation cost is an order of magnitude apart.
Lifetime deals on unfamiliar all-in-one platforms. This category has a long history of tools that sold lifetime access, stopped developing and left customers migrating anyway. SuiteDash's Century pricing at $2,240 to $6,840 is the one worth taking seriously, and only if you have used the product for a year first.
Rebuilding the funnel before you fix the follow-up. Speed of response moves booking rates further than any landing page, which is the argument in our contractor lead follow-up guide and the reason a simple missed call text back setup often beats a platform switch.
Migration scoped by automations, not contacts
Contacts export in an afternoon. Workflows get rebuilt by hand. We will count what is actually running before you commit to a move.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best GoHighLevel alternative for a small agency?
SuiteDash, on price and white labelling. PINNACLE costs $99 a month or $960 a year with unlimited clients and staff, and white labelling is included on every tier rather than gated at the top. The trade is less marketing automation depth, so agencies selling campaign management will need additional tools around it.
Is there a free alternative to GoHighLevel?
Nothing free matches the feature spread. The closest useful free tiers are HubSpot's free CRM for up to 2 users and ServiceM8's free plan for one user and 30 jobs a month. For a contractor, a $29 Jobber subscription covers more real work than any free all-in-one.
Why is my GoHighLevel bill higher than the plan price?
Phone numbers, SMS, emails and premium AI usage are metered separately from the subscription, and add-ons run from $10 to $497 a month. On Unlimited and Agency Pro those usage costs can be rebilled to clients, at cost on Unlimited and with a markup on Agency Pro, which is a feature for agencies and a surprise for everyone else.
Can I move my GoHighLevel data to another platform?
Contacts and basic custom fields export cleanly. Workflows, funnels, pipelines and calendar configurations do not, and there is no standard format for them, so they get rebuilt by hand in the new system. Scope the migration by counting live automations rather than contacts.
Should a contractor use GoHighLevel or Jobber?
Jobber, in almost every case. GoHighLevel is built for agencies managing many client accounts and has no dispatch board, job costing or technician scheduling. A contractor running trucks needs those more than a funnel builder, and Jobber Connect at $99 a month covers the two-way texting and automated follow-up that the GHL account was likely handling.
