AI Readiness Scorecard
Twenty questions about how your business actually runs. The score tells you whether to automate one thing, run a 90-day program, or fix the customer list and the phone first.

Your readiness score
0 of 20 answered. The score updates as you answer.
Automating a process that lives in a group text automates the mess. Get the phone and the customer list into one system first; everything after that gets cheaper.
By area
What this score should buy
A $100 Jobber or Housecall Pro seat, a tracking number with missed call text back, and one CRM every lead goes into. That is a month of work, not a project. Essentials at $350 a month includes the phone side.

Data: Can a computer see your business?
Score: 0/20
Workflows: Is the work repeatable?
Score: 0/20
Want a second opinion on the score?
Optional. Leave an email and Alex reads your twenty answers and replies with what to buy first, or that you need nothing yet. It is a reply, not a sequence.
How the scoring works
Five areas, four questions each, five points a question. Data asks whether a computer can see your business at all. Workflows asks whether the work is repeatable enough to hand to software. People asks whether anyone will use what gets built. Tools asks whether your software can talk to anything. Risk asks who checks what the machine says before a customer reads it. The reasoning behind each question, the Census numbers on who is actually using AI, and the three things that fake readiness are in the full guide: AI readiness assessment for a small business.
Rather talk it through?
Thirty minutes, and we tell you whether you need a build, a program, or a $100 software seat. The AI and Automation Coaching Sprint is $1,000 for four live sessions if you would rather learn it than buy it.
Frequently asked questions
What does an AI readiness assessment measure?
Whether a business has the data, repeatable workflows, people, connected tools and basic controls for an automation or AI project to pay off. This scorecard checks those five areas with four questions each, 20 points per area, 100 total.
What is a good AI readiness score for a small business?
Seventy or above means a 90-day program will stick. Forty to 69 means one well-chosen build will pay off and a bigger program will not yet. Under 40 means the customer list and the phone need to be in one system before anything is automated.
Do I need an AI strategy before I automate anything?
No. For a company under 50 people the strategy is the order of operations: data in one place, then the phone, then one build, then a program. The scorecard tells you which step you are on.
Is my score shared with anyone?
No. The score is computed in your browser. If you leave an email, Alex reads your answers and replies with what to buy first, or that you need nothing yet. Nothing is sent otherwise.
