Website chatbot
Also called: AI chat, Live chat
A website chatbot is a chat window that answers visitor questions and collects their details at any hour, and the current ones run on AI models rather than scripted menus.
In practice
A good one knows the services, the areas, the hours and the price ranges, and asks for a name and number when the visitor is ready. A bad one asks three questions and says someone will be in touch.
It is worth having on a site with real traffic. It will not fix a site nobody visits.
