A2P 10DLC
Also called: 10DLC registration, Business texting registration
A2P 10DLC is the registration US carriers require before a business can send automated texts from a normal ten-digit phone number, and unregistered messages get filtered or blocked.
In practice
A2P means application to person. The registration ties the number to a real business with an EIN and a stated use, such as appointment reminders. Most CRMs and texting tools walk through it during setup and it takes days to approve.
If review requests and reminders suddenly stop arriving, this is the first thing to check.
