Service area business
Also called: SAB
A service area business is a Google Business Profile type for companies that travel to customers, such as plumbers and landscapers, and it shows a service area instead of a street address.
In practice
If customers never visit the office, hide the address and list the cities the crews actually drive to. Google allows up to 20 service areas, and the listing still ranks best near the real location.
A fake storefront address, a UPS box or a virtual office gets the profile suspended, and reinstatement can take weeks.
