Geo grid rank tracking

Geo grid rank tracking checks where a business ranks in the map pack from dozens of points across its service area instead of from one spot, and shows the result as a colored grid.
In practice
A typical check is a 7 by 7 grid at one-mile spacing, 49 searches for the same term. Green near the office and red at the edges is normal; the work is pushing green outward with location pages, reviews and a correct category.
It is the only honest way to report local rank, because a single number from one location hides what most customers see.
