TL;DR
Nine law firm SEO companies read from their own sites and Clutch on October 14, 2026. Two publish a price: Grow Law Firm (SEO from $2,500 a month, PPC from $1,450, websites from $599 a month, all three bundled at $4,299 to $4,549) and Skill Mammoth (ours, $750, $1,500 and $3,000 flat, no contract). Rankings.io lists a $5,000 minimum project on Clutch and runs month to month; Juris Digital asks for a 12-month commitment; iLawyerMarketing limits firms per geographic area and a client calls it "one of the higher priced." The published cost guidance for the category runs $1,000 to $3,500 a month for a solo practice and $10,000 to $20,000-plus for a firm with 21 or more attorneys. Personal injury in a major metro sits at the top of that range; estate planning and family law in a mid-size city sit near the bottom, which is where a flat-fee shop makes sense.
Disclosure first: Skill Mammoth is a Minneapolis agency that works with law firms remotely, and we are on this list. The other eight are ranked by fit, by what they charge when they will say, and by what we would tell an attorney friend, the same way we rank every agency roundup here. Where a company publishes no price, the table says "not published" rather than guessing.
Read the search results first
Search "law firm seo company" on October 14, 2026 and the page is a lesson in the category. An AI Overview sits on top. Organic position two is a studio with a domain rating of 3, which means a specialist page can rank without a large site. Position three is a directory of 22 Los Angeles firms, position five is a DesignRush list, position six is Thrive's law firm page (a Texas generalist), and positions seven and ten are Reddit threads and People Also Ask boxes. A three-pin map pack sits at position four with LawRank in it. The agencies that actually serve law firms are mostly not on the page; the pages about them are. That is why the first question to ask any agency is which practice area it ranked, in which city, for which firm you can call.
One more piece of context from our law firm SEO guide: legal search splits by practice area far more sharply than any trade, the map pack sits above every organic result for "near me" queries, and your state bar regulates the claims an agency can make for you. An agency that has never read your bar's advertising rules should not write your pages.
1. Skill Mammoth (ours)
The flat-fee option: local SEO plus AI search at $750, $1,500 or $3,000 a month, sites at $1,000, $3,000 or $8,000, no contracts. The structural rule we build around is one page per practice area per location you serve, with schema for each, and no near-identical city pages. The $1,500 tier adds up to five city or neighborhood pages a month, authority placements and a monthly dashboard with AI citation tracking across 20-plus queries, which matters for firms because "best personal injury lawyer in [city]" is now a ChatGPT question as often as a Google one. Honest limitations: we are not legal-exclusive, we do not run mass tort campaigns, and a personal injury firm fighting for Los Angeles or Houston needs a budget and a link program we do not pretend to sell at $1,500. A family, estate, criminal defense or immigration practice in a mid-size market is our lane.
2. Rankings.io
Marion, Illinois per Clutch, founder-owned and led by Chris Dreyer, nine straight years on the Inc. 5000, "100 percent law firms," client-facing staff who work only in legal marketing from the US or Canada. Personal injury is the specialty (the site claims 300-plus PI firms served and 100,000-plus PI cases generated), with criminal defense, family, immigration, employment, bankruptcy and estate planning also served. Clutch lists a $5,000-plus minimum project, $150 to $199 an hour, 50 to 249 staff and 4.9 on 108 reviews; the site shows 4.9 on 200 reviews across Clutch, Facebook and Google. Terms are month to month. Fit: a PI firm with a real budget that wants the legal-only roster and will accept the $5,000 floor.
3. Grow Law Firm
Fort Lauderdale (501 East Las Olas), founded 2008 per REVERB's roundup, and the only agency on this list with a full price sheet: SEO from $2,500 a month (on-site, off-site, local, content, lead qualification), PPC from $1,450 a month, website design from $599 a month, and an All-Access Pass that bundles the three growth plans at $4,549 a month, shown as "from $4,299." Eighteen firm types are listed, from criminal defense and PI to immigration, estate planning, SSDI and solo lawyers. Three testimonials cite 460, 367 and 440 percent increases in qualified leads. No contract length is stated. Fit: a firm that wants to see the number before the call and prefers a subscription website to a build fee.
4. LawRank
San Diego (1111 Sixth Avenue) and New York (295 Madison), founded 2014, "more than a decade building rankings exclusively for law firms," PI, criminal defense, family, workers' compensation and employment on the intake form. Google rating 4.8 on 104 reviews. The claims: a 384 percent increase in first-time calls within 12 months across clients, Anderson Injury Lawyers at 614 percent growth in SEO-attributed cases with local-pack dominance in Fort Worth, a testimonial from leads of five a day to fifteen. No price on the site. LawRank is also the one agency in the map pack for the keyword, which is the kind of proof you want from a firm selling map-pack work. Fit: a PI or criminal defense firm in a major metro that wants a legal-only agency with a published case file and will get the price on the call.
Not sure whether you need a legal-only shop or a flat-fee one?
Fifteen minutes on your practice areas, where you rank for them today, and whether an agency is even the next step. No pitch deck.
5. iLawyerMarketing
San Diego (Carroll Canyon Road), since 2005, "trusted for over 20 years in legal marketing." The distinguishing policy: "We limit the number of law firms we work with per geographic area," with no number given, which is a softer version of the exclusivity promise firms often ask for. Services run from SEO and answer engine optimization (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) through Google Ads and LSAs, streaming TV, geofencing and mass tort. No price; the site states there is "no such thing as low-cost search engine marketing" in 2026, and a client testimonial says "they are one of the higher priced companies." Fit: a firm that wants the geographic limit and a 20-year shop, with the budget that sentence implies.
6. Juris Digital
Phone number only, no city on the site, "not even a decade old," principals with 30 years of combined experience, 4.8 on 81 Google reviews. Practice areas are family, estate planning, business, PI, criminal defense, employment and real estate. The terms are the thing to know: Juris asks firms to commit to a 12-month campaign, with à la carte services available. Results claimed: TAC Injury Law at 450-plus leads a month, Cyrus Pacific Law from $0 to $20,000 a month in eight months, Moses and Rooth at 200-plus criminal defense leads a month. Juris also publishes the cost guidance most roundups quote, $1,500 to $20,000 a month depending on practice area and market. Fit: a firm willing to sign for a year in exchange for a content-heavy program.
7. Consultwebs
Raleigh, North Carolina (Six Forks Road), "25-plus years of partnering with law firms," with a copyright line that runs from 1999. Positioned as "the top choice of personal injury law firms," and the case studies are PI: an $8.25 million settlement after a redesign for Salvi Law, a 7 to 1 return for Jebaily Law Firm in South Carolina. Claims across clients: 316 percent more cases in 12 months, a 56 percent drop in cost per case, 12,000-plus leads a month, $5.5 million in managed ad dollars. No price. Fit: an established PI firm that wants a long-tenured agency with video and paid media under the same roof.
8. PaperStreet
Fort Lauderdale (Southwest 17th Street), since 2001, "2,500-plus law firms," 100-plus five-star Google reviews. The core business is law firm websites, sold as flat-rate projects with "no hidden charges," and SEO and PPC sit alongside, with an $86 average cost per lead claimed for its lead generation. No starting price is published for either. Fit: a firm whose first problem is the website, with SEO to follow from the same vendor.
9. Scorpion, Justia and FindLaw
The platforms. Scorpion (Valencia, Draper and Addison offices, since 2001) sells SEO, ads and a proprietary site platform to law firms and home service companies alike; our Scorpion comparison covers the contract terms and the platform question. Justia and FindLaw sell directory placement, websites and SEO to firms as part of a legal publishing business; Justia's marketing pricing page returned a 404 on October 14, 2026, so the prices come from the sales call. Fit for all three: a firm that wants a large vendor and accepts that leaving means rebuilding the site.
Two generalists that will take a law firm
Clutch's legal SEO category is led by Rankings.io, then Funnel Boost Media (San Antonio, $1,000 minimum, $50 to $99 an hour, 4.9 on 119 reviews, legal services on its industry list) and Searchbloom (South Jordan, Utah, $1,000 minimum, SEO from $3,000 a month on its own site). Both are generalists with a legal lane. They are the right call for a small firm priced out of the legal-only shops and the wrong call for a PI firm in a top-ten metro.
What they charge, side by side
| Agency | Published price or signal (Oct 14, 2026) | Source | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skill Mammoth (ours) | SEO $750, $1,500, $3,000 a month; sites $1,000 to $8,000; no contract | skillmammoth.com/pricing | Family, estate, criminal, immigration practices in mid-size markets |
| Rankings.io | $5,000-plus minimum project; $150 to $199 an hour; month to month | Clutch; agency site | PI firms with budget, legal-only roster |
| Grow Law Firm | SEO from $2,500; PPC from $1,450; sites from $599 a month; bundle $4,299 to $4,549 | Agency pricing page | Firms that want the price before the call |
| LawRank | Not published | Agency site | PI and criminal defense in major metros |
| iLawyerMarketing | Not published; "one of the higher priced" per a client; limits firms per area | Agency site | Firms wanting a geographic limit |
| Juris Digital | Not published; 12-month commitment; category guidance $1,500 to $20,000 | Agency site | Firms willing to sign for a year |
| Consultwebs | Not published | Agency site | Established PI firms, video plus paid under one roof |

| Funnel Boost Media / Searchbloom | $1,000 minimum project each; Searchbloom SEO from $3,000 a month | Clutch; Searchbloom site | Small firms priced out of legal-only shops |
| Verdict | Two of nine publish a price. The legal-only floor is Grow Law's $2,500 a month; Rankings.io starts at $5,000 projects; Skill Mammoth's $750 and $1,500 tiers are the flat-fee alternative for practice areas outside personal injury. | ||
How to choose between them
Match the agency to the practice area before the budget. Personal injury in a metro is a link-building and content war with firms spending five figures a month, and the legal-only shops above exist because of it. Family law, estate planning, criminal defense and immigration in a mid-size city are local SEO problems: one page per practice area, a map-pack strategy, reviews, and a site that converts a frightened person at 11 p.m. The second problem costs a fraction of the first and does not need the first problem's agency.
Then ask the five questions. What will you do in the first 90 days for my highest-value practice area. Who owns the site, the Google Business Profile and the ad accounts at exit. Which current client in my practice area and a market my size can I call. Have you read my state bar's advertising rules, and who checks the pages against them. And what is the monthly price before the proposal. Pair the answers with the 2026 click prices by practice area so you know what the paid side of the plan will cost next to the organic side.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the best law firm SEO companies?
By fit: Skill Mammoth for family, estate, criminal defense and immigration practices in mid-size markets that want a flat fee (ours), Rankings.io for personal injury firms with a $5,000-plus budget and a legal-only roster, Grow Law Firm for firms that want a published price sheet, LawRank for PI and criminal defense in major metros, iLawyerMarketing for a geographic limit from a 20-year shop, Juris Digital for a 12-month content program, Consultwebs for established PI firms, and PaperStreet for firms whose first problem is the website.
How much does law firm SEO cost?
Published figures on October 14, 2026: Grow Law Firm from $2,500 a month, Rankings.io $5,000-plus minimum projects on Clutch, Skill Mammoth $750, $1,500 or $3,000. The category guidance quoted by Juris Digital runs $1,500 to $20,000 a month; a breakdown by firm size puts solo practices at $1,000 to $3,500 and firms with 21 or more attorneys at $10,000 to $20,000-plus. Practice area moves the number more than firm size does.
Do I need a legal-only SEO agency?
For personal injury in a competitive metro, yes, because the link and content programs that win there are built by shops that do nothing else. For most other practice areas the work is local SEO with bar-compliant copy, and a generalist that understands practice-area page structure and will read your bar's rules can do it at a lower price.
Which law firm SEO companies require contracts?
Juris Digital asks for a 12-month commitment. Rankings.io and Skill Mammoth run month to month. Grow Law Firm, LawRank, iLawyerMarketing, Consultwebs and PaperStreet do not state terms on their sites; ask before signing, and ask who owns the website if the answer involves a platform.
What should a law firm ask an SEO company on the first call?
The first-90-days plan for your top practice area, asset ownership at exit, a current client in your practice area and market size you can call, who checks pages against your state bar's advertising rules, and the monthly price before the proposal.
