Workiz Pricing in 2026: What It Costs (Quote-Only, Decoded)

    TL;DR

Workiz does not publish prices. Its pricing page lists three plans, Standard, Pro, and Ultimate, and every one of them sits behind a "Request pricing" button, with a 7-day free trial that needs no card and an annual discount the FAQ describes as "$400+" without saying off what. The most credible third-party figures (verified February 2026) put the entry plans at $225 to $325 a month for five users on monthly billing, roughly $187 to $270 on annual, with extra users at $55 to $65 each and the Genius phone and AI-answering add-ons at about $100 and $200 a month on top. For a five-person crew that is $300 to $600 a month all-in, against Jobber's published $139 to $199 and Housecall Pro's $149 to $299. Get the written quote in annual and monthly form and count the add-ons before you compare.

Same disclosure as our Jobber, Housecall Pro, and ServiceTitan pricing posts: Skill Mammoth builds websites and runs SEO for the trades. We do not sell field service software and we have no affiliate arrangement with Workiz. Everything below is either from Workiz's own pricing page, screenshotted this week, or from a named third party with the date they say they verified it, because Workiz has made the price itself the hardest part of evaluating the product.

    What the pricing page shows

Workiz pricing page showing Standard, Pro, and Ultimate plans, each with a Request pricing button and no dollar amounts
Workiz's pricing page, September 2026. Three plans, three "Request pricing" buttons, and a headline that says "fairly priced" without a number anywhere on the page.

The page does list what each tier contains, which is useful once you have a quote. Standard covers scheduling, invoices, jobs and estimates, online payments, service areas, built-in reports, client management, custom fields, subcontractor management, QuickBooks sync, plus five automations. Pro adds performance pay and ten automations, custom reports, plus the Genius leads and Genius scheduling AI features. Ultimate, tagged "most popular," adds service plans, sales proposals, inventory, flat-rate pricing, checklists, multi-day jobs, franchise management, equipment tracking and purchase orders, plus an open API, with 30 automations. The three Genius add-ons (Phone, Answering, Marketing) are marked "sold separately" on every tier, as are card readers.

What third parties report Workiz actually charges

    Tooled Up Pro, verified Feb 2026Kickstart $225, Standard $275, Pro $325 monthly; about $187, $228, $270 on annual5 per plan$55 (Kickstart/Standard), $65 (Pro)
    ServiceAgent and CheckThat, 2026Same $187 / $229 / $270 annual figures, Ultimate by quote5$46 to $54
    HVAC Software Hub, Apr 2026$49 / $99 / $199 for plans named Basic, Professional, Premium2 / 5 / 15$19 to $29
VerdictTwo of three sources agree on $225 to $325 monthly for five users. The third names plans that do not exist on Workiz's page and should be ignored. Budget $275 a month for Standard until your quote says otherwise.

Two notes on that table. The "Kickstart" tier the third parties describe is no longer on the live page, which now starts at Standard, so the entry price may have moved up since February. And the plan names in the third row match nothing Workiz publishes, which is what happens when pricing pages go dark: the internet fills the gap, and some of what fills it is invented. Treat any Workiz price you did not get in writing from Workiz as a planning number.

    The add-on shelf

The base plan is the smaller half of the bill for most crews. The Genius Phone system (integrated calling, call insights, two-way texting, call masking, ad tracking) is reported at about $100 a month. Genius Answering, the AI that answers calls and messages around the clock in three languages and transfers live to your team, is reported near $200 a month. Genius Marketing (campaigns, workflows, reputation management) is a third separate charge. Workiz Pay handles online payments, deposits, consumer financing, plus tap-to-pay, with processing fees that vary by quote. A five-user Standard plan with the phone system and AI answering is therefore in the $550 to $650 range on monthly billing, which is ServiceTitan-adjacent money for a product positioned against Jobber.

VerdictFor a five-person crew, Workiz's reported entry price is roughly double Jobber Connect and Housecall Pro Essentials. It earns that gap only if you will use the automations, the AI answering, or the franchise tools.

    Who Workiz is built for

Read the testimonials on the pricing page and a pattern appears: junk removal and locksmiths lead, followed by garage door companies and appliance repair, and they dominate, with HVAC and plumbing present but outnumbered. That matches the product. Workiz grew up in dispatch-heavy, quick-ticket trades where the phone system, the on-my-way texts, and the ad-tracking call flows matter more than a service-agreement engine, and the franchise management and open API on Ultimate serve the multi-location junk and locksmith brands that started there. If that describes your business, the premium over Jobber can be worth it. If you are a two-truck plumber, the Jobber versus Housecall Pro comparison is the decision you should be making instead, and the full field is in best field service software.

How to get a real number out of the quote call

Ask for the annual price and the monthly price side by side, since "$400+ savings" only means something against a base you know. Ask for the price at your actual user count, including office staff who need logins. Ask which Genius add-ons are included in the quoted number and which are extra, and get the processing rate for Workiz Pay in writing. Ask what happens to the price at renewal, because introductory discounts on quote-only software tend to expire quietly. And run the 7-day trial with real jobs before signing anything annual; the trial costs nothing and the annual contract costs a year.

    Frequently asked questions

How much does Workiz cost per month?

Workiz does not publish prices. Third parties that verified quotes in early 2026 report $225 to $325 a month for the entry and mid plans on monthly billing (about $187 to $270 on annual), covering five users, with extra users at $55 to $65 and the Ultimate plan by quote only.

Does Workiz have a free plan?

Not any longer. An older free "Lite" tier limited to two users and 20 jobs a month is gone from the pricing page. What remains is a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, after which you need a quoted plan.

What is included in Workiz Standard?

Scheduling, jobs, estimates, invoices, online payments, service areas, built-in reports, client management, custom fields, subcontractor management, QuickBooks Online sync, plus five automations. Phone and AI answering, plus marketing tools, are separate add-ons on every tier.

    Is Workiz cheaper than Jobber?

No. For a five-person team, Workiz's reported $225 to $275 entry price is about double Jobber's $139-a-month Connect plan, and Jobber publishes its prices. Workiz costs more and includes more dispatch and phone tooling; whether that is worth it depends on how call-heavy your trade is.

    Which trades use Workiz?

Junk removal and locksmith companies dominate its customer base, with garage door and appliance repair close behind, with HVAC and plumbing present in smaller numbers. Its phone system and ad tracking, plus franchise tools, were built for quick-ticket, dispatch-heavy trades and multi-location brands.
