The question we get on every sales call

Why every plan includes a website we build

Not to lock you in. You own the code, the domain and the content from day one. We build the site because it is the only way we can trace every lead, keep it fast and secure, and be accountable for the results we promise.

30-min call. No pressure. Straight answers.

    The short answer

    Yours
The repository, the domain, the content and the data are in your name. Leave and take all of it.
    Traced
Every call, text, form and estimate request is wired into the code, so each job is tied to the page and campaign that produced it.
    Included
Hosting, security and updates come with every plan from $350 a month. No maintenance plan, no plugin licenses, no hosting bill.

What you get out of it

The reasons in the order owners care about them. The last one is the reason we will not make an exception.

    01

    You own it, outright

The code lives in a GitHub repository under your company's name. The domain is registered to you. The content, the photos and the data are yours. If you leave, you take all of it and run it with any developer, or with Claude Code or Codex yourself. Compare that to the managed-platform agencies whose site disappears the day you cancel.

    02

It loads fast, and stays fast

Hand-coded pages, rendered on the server and cached at the edge. No page builder, no theme, no stack of plugins each adding its own scripts. Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor, and it is the first thing a homeowner on a phone notices.

    03

Nothing to patch on a Tuesday

There is no PHP, no plugin directory and no admin login for a bot to guess. On October 21, 2026, PHP shipped an emergency fix for two flaws rated 9.2 out of 10 that let an attacker run code on a server without logging in, and nearly every WordPress site in the world needed its host to act. Patchstack counted 11,334 new WordPress vulnerabilities in 2025, 91 percent of them in plugins. A site with no plugins was on neither list.

    04

Every lead is traced to its source

Call tracking, missed call text back, the forms, the chat and the instant estimate tool are wired into the code, not bolted on through a tag manager. Your monthly report shows which page, which call and which campaign produced each job. On a site we do not control, that number is a guess.

    05

Changes ship in days, not tickets

Send an edit from your client portal and it is live within five business days, usually sooner. No waiting on a third vendor, no "the plugin needs updating first." Blog posts and finished-job posts publish from the portal in one click.

    06

    Bespoke tools, not bolt-ons

Instant estimates from an address, cost calculators, a project gallery that posts from the field, lead magnets built for your trade. These are features of the site, written in code, so they do not break when something else updates.

    07

Built for how people search now

Google's AI results and ChatGPT read a server-rendered page with clean schema, an author entity and an llms.txt file. Every site we build ships with all of it, which is what gets a contractor cited when a homeowner asks an AI who to call.

    08

    One company to call

When the website, the tracking and the marketing are ours, a lost lead has one owner. Nobody argues about whether it was the form plugin, the cache plugin or the campaign. We only promise results on what we control, and that is the honest reason we insist on building the site.

Why we will not just work on the site you have

We could. We would be the fourth vendor touching a site none of us controls, after the designer who built it, the host that runs it and whoever added the last plugin. When a lead disappears, nobody can say why, and you pay for the argument.

The alternative is a site we built, with every lead traced and every feature in code we can read. That is what makes the 90-day map guarantee and the under-a-minute lead response possible. We would rather turn down a project than take money for results we cannot stand behind.

    What it costs

Websites start at $1,000. The Smart Website every plan is built around is $3,000, or $150 a month for 24 months on Easy Start, our own payment plan with no credit check. Every monthly plan from $350 includes hosting, security and updates, so nothing sits on top of it. Managed-platform agencies charge $1,200 to $2,500 a month on a 24-month contract and keep the site when you leave. The full ladder is on the pricing page, and the market comparison is in our guide to web design for contractors.

Already have a site you like?

Keep the design. We rebuild the engine under it, move every page, set up the redirects and carry the rankings over, and nobody outside your office notices the switch. The free website audit shows what the current site is leaking before anyone quotes anything, and the website ownership guide covers how to get the domain, the files and the Google listing back from a previous agency.
