TL;DR
Indianapolis marketing agencies sort into three groups that rarely bid on the same work, and on October 19, 2026 only one of them prints a price. Specialists: Firebelly Marketing, social only, publishes social media management at $3,000 to $10,000 a month and email from $1,500; Onya, digital advertising and influencer work from the north suburbs with a $5,000 Clutch minimum. Full-service lead shops: EverEffect, 18 years on the northeast side with a dedicated HVAC and home services practice and a 2025 Google Premier Partner badge; Site Strategics downtown, SEO and search marketing, host of the EDGE of the Web podcast since 2011; Ayokay on North Shadeland, web design and marketing for public health and mission-driven organizations. Enterprise: Element Three in Carmel, a B2B agency for manufacturers and dealer networks (Airstream, Newmar). Skill Mammoth (ours, remote from Minneapolis) is the flat-fee option at $750, $1,500 or $3,000 a month with no contract. The caution: Clutch's "Indianapolis" list opens with an agency in Nashville, one in Carmel and one in Guildford, England. The table says who is actually here and what each will tell you before a call.
Disclosure first: Skill Mammoth is a Minneapolis agency that serves Indiana contractors and practices remotely, and we are on this list. The Indianapolis shops are ranked the way we rank our Orlando and Minneapolis lists: by who each one fits, what they charge when they will say, and what we would tell a friend who asked. Where an agency does not publish a price, the table says so instead of guessing.
Read the Google results before you read this list
The search is "marketing agency indianapolis," 880 searches a month, and the page one we screened on October 11, 2026 had five agencies under a domain rating of 45 on it, which is the most open city SERP in our set. It means the directories have not taken over yet and a real Indianapolis firm with a real client list can rank on its own name and its own pages. It also means the agencies that do rank are the ones who did their own marketing, which is the first thing to check about a marketing agency.
1. Skill Mammoth (ours)
The flat-fee option: SEO + AI Search at $750, $1,500 or $3,000 a month on published tiers, sites at $1,000, $3,000 or $8,000, paid ads at $600 a month or 12 percent of spend, no contracts, and AI search optimization folded into the SEO tiers. We are a performance shop for home service contractors and local practices, and Indiana has the weather calendar we build for: furnace season from October, AC from June, and a roofing hail belt that runs through Hamilton and Hendricks counties. The honest limitation is that we are not in the city; for a shop you can meet at a Mass Ave coffee, EverEffect and Site Strategics are the local lead shops below. Every line item is on the pricing page.
2. EverEffect
4901 Common Vista Court on the northeast side, with satellite offices in Westfield and in Freedom, Wisconsin, "for over 18 years." EverEffect is the Indianapolis lead shop closest to our own lane: PPC, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, Local Services Ads, AI SEO, video and a dedicated HVAC and home services page, with Google Premier Partner status and a 2025 Premier Partner designation on the blog. Testimonials come from two law firms and an insurance agency. No price is published; the entry point is a free "digital performance analysis," and Clutch lists a $5,000 minimum project at $100 to $149 an hour. The fit is a contractor or a firm that wants paid search run by a certified local team and will negotiate the retainer on the call.
3. Firebelly Marketing
6543 Ferguson Street in Broad Ripple, social media only, "creating meaningful social connections," and the one agency on this list that prints its investment: social media management at "$3,000–$10,000/month (varies by scope)" with a manager of five-plus years' experience, and email and SMS marketing from $1,500. Clutch rates it 4.9 on 36 reviews and lists a $5,000 minimum at $150 to $199 an hour; the agency says Clutch ranks it the top social media agency globally. The client base is food and beverage brands, with a podcast to match. The fit is a consumer brand that needs social run by specialists; a plumber does not need $3,000 a month of Instagram, and Firebelly would say so.
4. Site Strategics
1317 North Pennsylvania Street downtown, a full-service digital shop built around SEO and search marketing, with web development, content, social and a recording studio for "New Media." The firm has hosted the EDGE of the Web podcast since 2011, which is a real footprint in the search industry, and carries a Semrush certified partner badge. The site says it builds a monthly plan rather than an annual one and publishes no price. The fit is a growth-stage company that wants SEO strategy and execution from a downtown team that has been in the search business as long as anyone in the city.
5. Ayokay
7202 North Shadeland Avenue, a web design and marketing agency for "mission-driven and growth-focused organizations": public health organizations, the fresh produce industry, the US federal government, with Regenstrief Institute, the Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis and Zespri Kiwifruit on the client list. Services run from strategy and UX through SEO, PPC, email and custom development on WordPress, Shopify and Webflow. No price; a free 15-minute consultation is the entry point, and Clutch lists a $1,000 minimum at $100 to $149 an hour on a 5.0 across seven reviews. The fit is an institution or a nonprofit that needs a site built right and marketed after; a contractor is not the target.

Fifteen minutes on what you sell, who buys it and what your site converts today. We will say which group above to call, even when it is not us.
6. Onya
A north-suburbs agency (Clutch lists Carmel; the site gives a 317 number and no address) built on digital advertising: Google Ads, connected TV and streaming, programmatic, influencer and creator marketing, social and brand. Clients are higher education, healthcare, nonprofits and churches, plus med spas, movers, manufacturers and multi-location retail; Geneva College's "qualified RFIs moved within one semester" is the headline result. No price, an "initial engagement period" disclosed on the discovery call, and a Clutch 5.0 on 31 reviews with a $5,000 minimum at $150 to $199 an hour. The fit is an organization with an advertising budget that wants streaming and programmatic run alongside search.
7. Element Three
571 Monon Boulevard in Carmel, a self-described "B2B2X" agency that helps manufacturers activate dealers and move inventory: Airstream, Newmar, Beck's Hybrids and Franklin Water Treatment, with research, brand, creative, media and data science under one roof. No price and no small-business tier; three of the results stats on the homepage read "0%," which are unfilled placeholders rather than results. If you make products that sell through a dealer network, this is the only agency on the page built for you. If you own one location, it is not your call to make.
8. Kurieta
3815 River Crossing Parkway, a consulting, branding, web and software company with offices in Surrey, British Columbia and Delhi, positioned for small businesses with a Clutch 5.0 on nine reviews, a $1,000 minimum and the lowest hourly band on the list at $50 to $99. No price on the site. The fit is a small business that wants a website and software built by one vendor at offshore-assisted rates, and the question to ask is which part of the work is done in Indianapolis.
9. The rest of the Clutch page
Clutch's "digital marketing agencies in Indianapolis" list, read October 19, 2026, opens with Plan Left, which is in Nashville, then Onya in Carmel, then Breakline, a Guildford, England SEO agency that also appears on Clutch's Denver and Austin lists. Further down: JDR Web Solutions (5.0 on three reviews, $5,000 minimum, $25 to $49 an hour), Brainlabs (a global agency with a Bloomington listing) and Elevated Marketing Solutions (4.8 on two reviews, two to nine staff). None of this makes them bad agencies. It means "Indianapolis" on a directory is a service-area claim, and if you want someone who knows the difference between Fishers and Fountain Square, check the address.

| Verdict | One of seven Indianapolis shops prints a price, and it is the social specialist. Ask the other six for the number first; the pricing transparency study found 30 percent of 271 agencies show one, and Indianapolis is below the average. | ||
For contractors specifically
Indianapolis home service work runs on a two-season calendar and a hail belt. Furnace searches start in October and AC searches in June, and a roofer's SEO has to be in place by March to catch the spring storms that roll through Hamilton, Hendricks and Johnson counties, because a page that ranks in August caught nothing. EverEffect names the trades and manages Local Services Ads, which is the first channel a licensed Indiana contractor should fund; the LSA cost guide puts most trades at $20 to $80 a lead. Our contractor marketing playbook covers the four jobs any agency on this list should be able to describe back to you, and the SEO cost guide has the market ranges to check a quote against.
How to choose between them
Decide which group you are in before you call anyone. A consumer brand with a social problem calls Firebelly; a manufacturer with dealers calls Element Three; an institution rebuilding a site calls Ayokay; a contractor or a firm that needs the phone to ring calls EverEffect, Site Strategics or us. Then ask for the number before the deck, a client in your industry and revenue band that ranks in Indianapolis today, and who owns the site and the accounts when you leave. And check the address, because the directory lists for this city start in Nashville.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the best marketing agencies in Indianapolis?
By group, on October 19, 2026: EverEffect and Site Strategics for lead generation through paid search and SEO; Firebelly Marketing for social media, with published pricing; Onya for digital advertising and streaming; Ayokay for web design and marketing for institutions; Element Three for B2B manufacturers; Kurieta for small-business web and software; and Skill Mammoth (ours, remote) for a flat fee with no contract.
How much do Indianapolis marketing agencies charge?
Firebelly publishes $3,000 to $10,000 a month for social media management and $1,500 and up for email. Clutch minimums for the Indianapolis shops run $1,000 to $5,000 per project at $50 to $199 an hour. Skill Mammoth publishes $750, $1,500 and $3,000 a month. The others quote on the call.
Which Indianapolis agencies work with contractors?
EverEffect has a dedicated HVAC and home services practice and manages Local Services Ads. Site Strategics runs SEO and search marketing for growth-stage companies across industries. Skill Mammoth serves home service contractors nationally. Firebelly, Onya, Ayokay and Element Three are built for other buyers.
Are the agencies on Clutch's Indianapolis list actually in Indianapolis?
Not all. The list opens with Plan Left in Nashville, and Breakline, a Guildford, England agency, appears third. EverEffect, Firebelly, Site Strategics, Ayokay and Kurieta have Indianapolis addresses; Onya and Element Three are in the Carmel area. Check the address if being local matters.
Do I need an Indianapolis agency for Indianapolis marketing?
No. Local SEO, Local Services Ads and paid search are remote work, which is why we serve Indiana from Minneapolis and why national agencies rank for the city. A local agency helps when you want in-person meetings or local referral relationships; it does not change the ranking or the ad auction.
Is Skill Mammoth an Indianapolis marketing agency?
No, and we say so above. We are a Minneapolis agency serving contractors and practices nationally at $750, $1,500 or $3,000 a month with no contract. If a local shop matters, EverEffect and Site Strategics are the Indianapolis lead shops on this list.
