TL;DR
Nine construction marketing agencies and SEO companies, read from their own sites and Clutch on October 14, 2026, sorted by the kind of construction company each one actually serves. Three publish a price: Builder Funnel (a $15,000 foundation build plus $3,500 to $7,500 a month, residential remodelers and custom builders only), Helium SEO (campaigns from $3,000 a month) and Skill Mammoth (ours, $750, $1,500 and $3,000 flat, no contract). Blue Corona, now operating under the RYNO brand, states $2,000 to $10,000-plus a month for ongoing SEO and $2,500 to $3,500 for an audit. Contractor Dynamics works only with roofing and exterior companies, Venveo mainly with building-material manufacturers, and Stokes Creative with heavy civil and transportation firms doing public outreach. The first question is not "who is best" but "which construction," because the agency that fills a remodeler's calendar is the wrong one for a general contractor bidding commercial work.
Disclosure first: Skill Mammoth is a Minneapolis agency that builds sites and runs local SEO for contractors, and we are on this list. The other eight are ranked by fit, by what they charge when they will say, and by what we would tell a contractor friend, the same way we rank the home service roundup and the remodeling list. Where a company publishes no price, the table says so.
Read the search results first
Search "construction marketing agency" on October 14, 2026 and the organic page is unusually open: OneAgency (a Norwich and London firm, domain rating 53) at one, an Agency Vista list at two, Marketing 360's contractor page at four, an Educo list at five, Evolved, Iconier, Bird Marketing and a Semrush directory through ten. Nothing above domain rating 75, three roundups, and a three-pin map pack at three. "Construction seo company" (480 searches a month) is Helium SEO, Metrics Lion (DR 26 at position three), Thrive, Blue Corona, Clutch and a Frizerly list. These are winnable pages for a mid-size agency with a construction-specific page, which is why so many of the results are agency landing pages rather than agencies.
The useful fact underneath: "construction" is four markets wearing one word. Residential remodelers and custom builders sell to homeowners and need local SEO, reviews and a site that takes a lead at 9 p.m. General and commercial contractors sell to developers and owners and need a portfolio, bid-list positioning and a sales team's outreach. Specialty trades (roofing, HVAC, electrical) have their own agencies, covered in our roofing and HVAC lists. Building-material manufacturers sell to all of the above. Each agency below is labeled by which of the four it serves.
1. Skill Mammoth (ours): residential and specialty contractors
The flat-fee option: local SEO plus AI search at $750, $1,500 or $3,000 a month, sites at $1,000, $3,000 or $8,000 with an instant estimate tool and missed-call text-back built in, no contracts. The $1,500 tier adds up to five city or neighborhood pages a month, authority placements and a monthly dashboard with AI citation tracking. Our contractor marketing guide and contractor SEO guide show the method. Honest limitations: we are built for companies that sell to homeowners and small commercial accounts, we do not run public outreach or bid-list campaigns for civil contractors, and a $50 million general contractor with a marketing director belongs with Straight North or Venveo, below.
2. Builder Funnel: remodelers and custom home builders
Colorado Springs, "for 16 years" working with remodelers and builders (roughly 2010), 225 to 250-plus clients depending on which part of the page you read, and the most transparent price sheet in the category. The foundation is a one-time build at $15,000 (or $5,000 a month for three months) or $25,500 with video. Retainers are Build at $3,500 a month with ad management up to $5,000 a month of spend, Growth at $5,000 with up to $10,000, Accelerate at $7,500 with up to $25,000. Technology starts at $540 a month on top. Add-ons: SEO and AI content at $750 a piece, SEO booster $500 a month, social $750, email $300. The page recommends budgeting three to five percent of goal revenue, which for a $5 million goal is $150,000 to $250,000 a year across retainer, technology and ad spend. It states plainly that it does not work with businesses outside remodeling and custom homes. Fit: a $3 million-plus remodeler or custom builder that wants HubSpot-style inbound and can fund the foundation.
3. Blue Corona, now RYNO: residential and specialty contractors
Gaithersburg, Maryland, founded 2007, and since the merger operating under the RYNO Strategic Solutions brand. Its construction SEO page publishes the ranges most agencies hide: audits "typically $2,500 to $3,500," ongoing SEO "$2,000 per month at the low end, up to $10,000 or more," no long-term contracts, client ownership of deliverables, a dedicated account manager. The trade list runs from general contractors through electrical, flooring, garage door, HVAC, landscaping, painting, plumbing, remodeling, roofing, solar and windows; the case studies include a remodeler at 486 percent more online leads and a Phoenix HVAC, plumbing and electrical company at $34 million in attributed revenue. Our RYNO comparison covers the account-team model. Fit: a multi-crew residential contractor with $2,000-plus a month that wants a large shop with published ranges.
4. Contractor Dynamics: roofing and exterior companies only
Asbury Park, New Jersey, founded 2013 by Joe Hughes, 5.0 on 202 Google reviews. The site says 100 percent of clients are roofing and exterior companies, with a sweet spot of $2 million-plus in annual revenue and program tiers by revenue band: Marketing Foundations under $2 million, Growth Consulting from $2 million to $5 million, Performance Consulting above. The offer is coaching and courses (Marketing University, a consulting program) plus done-for-you Meta ads, LSA, SEO and websites. Results claimed: FoxHaven Roofing from zero to $20 million-plus a year in six years, Modern Roofing from 14 Google leads a year to 14 a week, a Meta campaign at 6.03x return in under five months. No price. Fit: a roofing or siding company that wants to be taught as much as served.

5. Helium SEO: construction companies, SEO and paid search
Cincinnati. Ranks second organically for "construction seo company" with a page that publishes a starting price, campaigns from $3,000 a month, plus a free audit and a 90-day growth plan. The claimed averages are 400 percent-plus client ROI, 200-plus businesses served and 697 percent average keyword growth; the named case studies (Watsons, Stio, Ripple Junction) are retail and apparel, not construction, so ask for a construction reference. The $3,000 covers reporting, research, a strategy roadmap, PPC, content, organic work and consulting calls. Fit: a construction company that wants search and paid from one mid-size shop at a published floor, and will verify the construction case before signing.
6. Metrics Lion: construction SEO
Miami (West Flagler Street), domain rating 26 and organic position three for "construction seo company," which is the proof of concept for its own service. Memberships in the National Association of Home Builders, the Florida Home Builders Association and the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association, nine first-name testimonials, no named results, no price, a free audit "valued at $300." Fit: a Florida builder or contractor that wants a small SEO-only shop and will ask for a named client.
7. Venveo: building materials, with contractors second
Since 2003, no address on the site, 1-800 number. The FAQ says Venveo works mainly with manufacturers, distributors and B2B brands with long sales cycles; the logos are Assa Abloy, Armstrong, DAP, Huber, Nichiha, Tremco and Henry. General contractors, builders and home services are listed under "who we help" as a secondary audience. Services span paid and programmatic media, SEO and AI optimization, content, email, web design and brand messaging. No price. Fit: a manufacturer or distributor; a contractor should call only if it sells to other contractors.
8. Stokes Creative Group: heavy civil and transportation
Mount Laurel, New Jersey, with Maryland and Florida offices, founded 1985 as a construction photography company. The services are public outreach, construction documentation, aerial and drone work, video, branding, web, SEO and public relations for East Coast construction and transportation companies, which is the marketing a highway or utility contractor actually needs and no residential agency offers. No price. Fit: a civil contractor with public projects and a community to keep informed.
9. Straight North and Iconier: generalists with a construction page
Straight North (Downers Grove, Illinois, 1997) ranks construction among 28 industries, with SEO, PPC, WordPress builds from $6,000 and AI bidding; its construction page returned a 403 on October 14, 2026, so the fit statement comes from the roundups. Iconier (Las Vegas, Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, founded 2020) publishes the "8 top construction agencies" list and ranks itself first in it. Both are the right call for a construction company with a marketing manager that wants a large generalist, and the wrong first call for a six-person remodeler.
What they charge, side by side
| Agency | Which construction | Published price or signal (Oct 14, 2026) | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skill Mammoth (ours) | Residential and specialty trades | SEO $750, $1,500, $3,000 a month; sites $1,000 to $8,000; no contract | skillmammoth.com/pricing |
| Builder Funnel | Remodelers and custom builders only | $15,000 foundation; $3,500, $5,000, $7,500 a month; technology from $540 | Agency pricing page |
| Blue Corona (RYNO) | Residential and specialty trades | Audit $2,500 to $3,500; SEO $2,000 to $10,000-plus a month; no long-term contract | Agency construction page |
| Contractor Dynamics | Roofing and exteriors only | Not published; programs by revenue band | Agency site |
| Helium SEO | Construction companies, general | From $3,000 a month | Agency construction page |
| Metrics Lion | Builders and contractors, Florida | Not published; free $300 audit | Agency site |
| Venveo | Building materials first | Not published | Agency site |
| Stokes Creative | Heavy civil and transportation | Not published | Agency site |
| Straight North / Iconier | Generalists with a construction page | Straight North sites from $6,000; otherwise not published | Roundups; agency sites |
| Verdict | Three of nine publish a retainer. The floor for a construction-specific managed program is Blue Corona's $2,000 and Helium's $3,000; Builder Funnel's $15,000 foundation is the ceiling for a residential shop; Skill Mammoth's $750 and $1,500 tiers are the flat-fee alternative for contractors who sell to homeowners. | ||
How to choose between them
Start with the buyer. If a homeowner signs your contracts, you need local SEO, reviews, a site with an estimate tool and fast follow-up, and the price of that from a specialist runs $750 to $3,500 a month on this list. If a developer or owner's rep signs them, you need a portfolio site, bid-list positioning, LinkedIn and outreach, and most of the agencies above are not built for it; Venveo and Stokes are closer, and a fractional marketing lead may beat both. If an insurance adjuster signs them, you are a roofing company and the roofing list is the right page.
Then ask five things on the first call. What will you do in the first 90 days for my highest-margin service. Who owns the site, the Google Business Profile and the ad accounts at exit. Which current client in my kind of construction can I call. Do you manage Local Services Ads, which Google now runs for general contractors and remodelers. And what is the monthly price before the proposal. The three agencies here that publish a number answered the last one before you asked, which is a fair tiebreaker.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the best construction marketing agencies?
By the kind of construction they serve: Skill Mammoth for residential and specialty contractors that want a flat fee (ours), Builder Funnel for remodelers and custom home builders above $3 million, Blue Corona (RYNO) for multi-crew residential contractors that want a large shop with published ranges, Contractor Dynamics for roofing and exterior companies, Helium SEO for a $3,000 SEO and paid program, Metrics Lion for Florida builders wanting SEO only, Venveo for building-material manufacturers, and Stokes Creative for heavy civil and transportation firms.
How much does construction marketing cost?
Published figures on October 14, 2026: Blue Corona $2,000 to $10,000-plus a month for SEO plus a $2,500 to $3,500 audit, Helium SEO from $3,000 a month, Builder Funnel $3,500 to $7,500 a month after a $15,000 foundation, Skill Mammoth $750, $1,500 or $3,000 with no contract. Builder Funnel's guidance is three to five percent of goal revenue across retainer, technology and ad spend.
What is the difference between a construction marketing agency and a construction SEO company?
A marketing agency sells the whole funnel (brand, site, ads, SEO, content, sometimes coaching); an SEO company sells search rankings and usually the content behind them. Helium, Metrics Lion and Blue Corona's construction page are SEO-first; Builder Funnel and Contractor Dynamics are full programs. A contractor whose site already converts needs the first kind; a contractor whose site does not needs the second, or a rebuild first.
Do construction marketing agencies require contracts?
Blue Corona states no long-term contracts and Skill Mammoth runs month to month. Builder Funnel's foundation is a one-time fee ahead of the retainer. Contractor Dynamics, Helium, Metrics Lion, Venveo and Stokes do not state terms on their sites; ask, and ask who owns the website at exit.
Should a general contractor hire a residential marketing agency?
Only if homeowners are the buyer. A commercial GC's leads come from relationships, bid lists and a portfolio that an owner's rep can trust, and a residential agency's local SEO program will produce homeowner calls the GC does not want. For commercial work, start with a portfolio site and a sales process, then add paid search for the few commercial terms with intent.
